When reaching a stage of wanting to make significant change, either in terms of career direction or how to go about feeling confident and ready to take the next steps in your chosen occupation, can prove challenging.
There are significant decisions to be made that can feel any thing from exciting to overwhelming and all point in between. So, how do you go about ensuring that you are equipping yourself with the right choices, actions and aptitude to move you from where you are to where you want to be?
At these progress blocks, many people consider engaging a coach to help make the transition a focussed, planned and supported experience. This allows the client to truly understand the exact outcome they aspire to and then design a flexible path to achievement.
Everyone’s support needs are diverse – some benefit from a few hours to work on specific dilemmas – such as getting ‘unstuck’ – then resume the pursuit of their objectives. Others look for a more strategic partnership – identifying goal areas then working through a tailored and structured approach to success.
Whilst there is no one-size fits all formula, due to experience utilising a coach can have a great positive impact in helping those that truly want to make a change, achieve faster and more effectively than those that ‘go it alone’.
